Dance / ballet / gymnastics classes for Primary School children

 

 

Class times:

 

Mondays - 4.30 to 5.30 pm - (Helena)
Wednesdays - 3.30 to 4.30 pm - (Helena)
Thursdays - 4.00 to 5.00 - (Helena). 6.00 to 6.30 pm - Gymnastic Squad (Chris). Saturdays - 11.00 am - 12.00 pm - ( Helena and Kea)

 

Description:

 

The primary school classes consist of one-third ballet and one-third gymnastics. In terms one and two students learn choreography (levels, directions, pace, plot and character), and become acquainted with contempory, jazz and ballet styles. In terms three and four our students learn pre-choreographed routines into which they place some of their own chreography in preparation for the end of year performance at Bangara Dance Theatre at the Wharf.

 

Class cost:

 

1 hour per week: $140 for the term. 2 hours per week: $220 for the term.Prices include accident insurance. Classes run through school terms only. We teach and welcome boys into all our classes.
